Will my avocados arrive ripe?

No, they will arrive either green or just starting to colour- refer to the ‘Ripening Guide’ for more information on how to ripen your avocados to best suit your needs.


How many fruit are there in a kilogram?

3-5 depending on size.


Are your avocados available all year round?

Unfortunately not - given that avocados are a seasonal crop, we can only offer them between August and February, although we endeavour to extend the season as far as possible through our growing practices.


I often buy avocados from the supermarket, and find brown streaks or patches inside them. Will this be the case with ‘AvoDirect’ avocados?

Our fruit are picked carefully by hand and delivered straight to you, minimising handling and therefore bruising/ damage.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We use PAYPAL secure online payment system.


Can I create a regular, standing order?

Yes this is possible- drop us an email on info@avodirect.co.nz and we will create a standing order that fulfils your/your businesses’ needs. 


Refunds policy

Our mission here at Avodirect is to provide high quality, hand selected avocados to our customers in perfect condition. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your avocados, please simply provide a photograph on the day you received them showing the issue, and send it through to info@avodirect.co.nz, along with your order reference, and we will be more than happy to provide a replacement, at our discretion. Given the perishable nature of avocados we do however ask that you do not send the fruit back to us, as it can be hard to assess the issue in this case.
